Line the basket with a piece of jute, place the water lily in the basket and fill with soil. Cover everything with the remaining jute and sprinkle with a layer of gravel. For a rich bloom, choose a sunny spot in the pond and place the basket at the correct depth. Light shade is also tolerated.
