Show moreYou can plant Thymus serpyllum immediately upon receipt, in a flower pot, window-box or in the garden. Are you planting it in a pot? Choose a pot with holes in the base and cover the bottom with a layer of potsherds or hydrograins. Put fresh potting soil in the pot and plant the root ball of of Thymus serpyllum at the correct depth. The planting distance should be 5-10 cm apart from each other. Fill with soil and press firmly. Give it plenty of water immediately after planting. Place the pot in a sunny spot. If planting in the ground, space further apart. Improve your garden soil by mixing in some sharp sand.
