  • Care
  • Pruning Citrus lemon is not absolutely necessary. You may want to pinch out the growing tips to encourage a bushy habit. In winter or early spring remove dead or crossing branches. Water regularly in summer, rainwater is preferable to tap water as it is much softer. To improve the growth, we recommend that you add plant food when watering, using our special Fruit Tree Fertiliser; this will give young plants all they need to thrive and establish.
