Planting and flowering details
  • Planting
  • Mazus Reptans grows well in the ground. Prepare a suitable hole in moist well-drained soil. Improve your soil by mixing in some compost. Plant the Mazus Reptans at the appropriate depth and approximately 15 cm apart. The top of the root ball should be just slightly below ground level. Fill the hole with soil and press firmly. Water immediately after planting. Mazus Reptans grows and flourishes in an area with complete sunshine, although it may need to be protected from the afternoon heat.
Mazus Reptans makes an excellent combination plant
Mazus Reptans forms a continuous carpet of leaves and flowers and is a wonderful ground cover plant. Place this wonderful low-growing plant along with taller growing plants, such as Hemerocallis 'Stella de Oro'. It can also be placed along the edge of a pond as the stems provide a great camouflage. You can also plant Mazus Reptans in a pot.
