Planting and flowering details
  • Planting
  • They are very easy plants to grow. They are best planted in a mildly acidic, fertile, well-drained soil, (will tolerate most soils) in a full sun or semi-shade position. Take a pot with holes in the base and cover the bottom with a layer of potsherds or hydrograins. Put compost in the pot and plant the Calibrachoa 'Million Bells' at the appropriate depth and arranged about 20 cm apart. Fill with compost and press firmly. Water generously immediately after planting. This plant will bloom best when placed in an area with complete sunshine. Do not let the soil dry out but also do not overwater as this can cause the roots to rot. Feed with a little fertilizer every two weeks. They even thrive in poor weather conditions.
Calibrachoa 'Million Bells' is wonderful in a hanging basket
The growth habit of the Calibrachoa 'Million Bells' is suitable for hanging baskets. The stems of this plant hang elegantly over the edge. The plant's unique colour can be wonderfully combined. You can also plant Calibrachoa 'Million Bells' in the ground. The flexible stems of this small-flowered Petunia may also trail on the ground. This is a fantastic border plant as it blooms throughout the entire summer. Arrange the plants about 30 cm apart from each other when growing in the border.

  • Care
  • All you need to do is remove the dead flowers from time to time, although they do tend to drop their spent flowers and replace with new. For an extra rich flowering, we recommend to add fertilizer along with water regularly. Water your Calibrachoa plant regularly to prevent the soil from drying out. Calibrachoa 'Million Bells' is an annual plant that dies in the winter.
