Radish

Radish is an edible root vegetable that is easy to grow in the garden or in pots on the patio or decking. Within 4 to 6 weeks you will be able to harvest your radishes, so we recommend you sow a row every two weeks, you will then be able to munch fresh radishes throughout the season. Growing radishes is fun for children, too, and is very educational. See our range below and order your radishes for the coming season.

The taste of radishes
The taste of radishes grown by you yourself is just incomparable to those in the shops. Home-grown radishes have a fuller flavour, a nice, crisp, crunchy texture and spicy too. Eaten raw, freshly picked, they taste just delicious but thrown into a mixed salad they will always be popular. An open sandwich, cheese topped with home-grown radishes – mmmmm. Even new, young radish leaves are tasty – try them in a salad.
