Pruning in November

It might be cold, wet and miserable but there is still much to enjoy in the garden in November, such as evergreen trees and shrubs and berries adding a splash of colour. There are still some garden chores that need doing at this time of year to prepare for the long winter, such as covering perennials, tying high grasses together, removing dead leaves from the lawn and cleaning out pots and containers. It’s also a good time for planting roses. Hopefully November will bring your last weeding of the year too!
